About Acorn Care Service Ltd
Acorn Care Service was set up in March 1999. Acorn started life as a small business comprising only a few dedicated support workers.
By January 2000, Acorn had grown greatly and became the first accredited agency on the Isle of Wight.
With the backing and support of Social Services and very dedicated and caring team, Acorn has grown into a large agency.
We aim to provide a personal, efficient service to all our clients, making their needs and dignity our first priority regardless of sex, disability, gender-orientation, age , race, religious belief of colour. Our anti-discriminatory philosophy is extended to include all our employees, visitors and contacts.
We aim to provide a personalised service tailored individually to meet the needs and the preferences of our clients.

Acorn Care Service Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission. Acorn’s support workers are given training at every level and support to achieve the NVQ in care at level 2, 3 & 4.
